It weighs almost nothing, water runs off it rather than soaking in, and it is remarkably hard to tear even though it feels like paper. For a bag that means you carry the weight of nothing and still get something you can load up and leave in the rain.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eHow do you clean it?\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Tyvek exterior wipes down easily and sheds most spills before they settle. The canvas lining inside is more absorbent, so blot spills there as soon as you can and know that some stains will set. When a wipe is not enough, machine wash on gentle with a low spin and let it air dry. The difference is the lining. The Utility Tote is lined in canvas, which gives the interior more structure.
