We want everyone to feel welcome at Desert Sol, in our shop on Main Street in Moab and here online. That includes shoppers who use a screen reader, navigate with a keyboard, zoom in to read, or browse in any other way that works best for them.

Our goal

We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These are the guidelines most widely used to make websites easier to use for people with disabilities.

What we do

• We write a description (alt text) for our product and lifestyle photos so screen readers can describe them.
• We keep our pages organized with clear headings so they are easy to follow.
• Our site can be used with a keyboard, and it includes a link to skip straight to the main content.
• We review the site regularly and fix problems as we find them.

Where we are still working

We are a small shop and our site is always growing, so some pages may not work perfectly for everyone yet. Some features, like payment, reviews and shipping tools, come from outside providers, and we cannot always control how they work. If something gets in your way, we truly want to hear about it.
