What is the difference between satin and silk?

Satin is a weave, not a fiber. It describes how the threads are woven to make a smooth, light catching surface, and satin can be woven from polyester or from silk. Both are kinder to your hair than a plain elastic. Silk goes further and is the one to sleep in, which is why we also carry the Mulberry Silk Scrunchie. Choose satin for the print, silk for the hair.
