Canyon Rose Carryall Tote

Light enough to forget you are carrying it, tough enough that you stop being careful with it, in our Canyon Rose print. Tyvek inside and out, so it sheds water, resists tearing, and wipes clean. When wiping is not enough it goes in the washing machine on delicate and air dries.

Canyon Rose is one of our own prints, drawn in house for Desert Sol: white roses and daisies scattered over a warm clay rose ground, the color of the canyon walls just before sunset. On a tote this size it is the kind of print people stop you to ask about.

Inside there is a sleeve sized for a laptop or a notebook, held shut with a gold magnetic button, a zip pocket for the things you do not want loose, and a key leash so you stop digging. Outside there is a second zip pocket for whatever you need without opening the bag.

What is Tyvek and why make a bag out of it?

Tyvek is a spun bonded polyethylene, the material used for house wrap and express mail envelopes. It weighs almost nothing, water runs off it rather than soaking in, and it is remarkably hard to tear even though it feels like paper.
