Floral Gesture Carryall Tote

Light enough to forget you are carrying it, tough enough that you stop being careful with it, in our Floral Gesture prints. Tyvek inside and out, so it sheds water, resists tearing, and wipes clean. When wiping is not enough it goes in the washing machine on delicate and air dries.

Floral Gesture is our collection of loose, painterly florals, all designed in house for Desert Sol. Choose from three prints: Brushed Sand, terracotta flowers on a soft sand ground. Mulberry, dusty pink and burgundy on light beige. And Apricot, sunny apricot and yellow blooms on cream.

Inside there is a sleeve sized for a laptop or a notebook, held shut with a gold magnetic button, a zip pocket for the things you do not want loose, and a key leash so you stop digging. Outside there is a second zip pocket for whatever you need without opening the bag.

What is Tyvek and why make a bag out of it?

Tyvek is a spun bonded polyethylene, the material used for house wrap and express mail envelopes. It weighs almost nothing, water runs off it rather than soaking in, and it is remarkably hard to tear even though it feels like paper.
